The mannequins symbolize the unrealistic pressuresand expectations that many of us face. This project promotes diversity, equality, community, andself-acceptance. Professional photographers and photo artists Mirkku Merimaa and Niina Stoltstarted the #breakthemold project in spring 2017 to help everyone feel accepted and not like theyare a misfit.
